My name is Alyssea, and I'm an INFP.
I'm pretty much interested in every subject, but my favorites are music and English. I love to play the acoustic guitar! I listen to a lot of indie, folk, classic rock, and Motown music... pretty much everything, actually.
Right now I go to Great River School, which is a Montessori Charter secondary school in St. Paul.
Why are you interested in Students Speak Out?
I think it's kind of silly that students don't get to be voters, especially since so many of us are so opinionated.
Hi! I'm Nuny, and I'm an SSO Goes Alternative Student Leader. Have you been to the SSO Goes Alternative Group? Click "Groups" above and come read my story. I hope you'll let me know what you think and post your story too. Everyone who posts their story will be entered into a drawing to win a sony net-sharing camcorder! Hope to chat with you soon....Nuny

Wow, that's really cool - that people from the school board told you about it. Do you remember who it was?
I work for the Citizens League, the organization that sponsors Students Speak Out. I'm an advisor to the Students Speak Out - Minneapolis leadership group. They're working on a project about whether more trust between students and teachers can reduce bullying and harassment in schools.
Right now, they're gathering stories from students about their experiences with trust and/or bullying. Then they'll be using that information to try and figure out how to improve the situation in the schools. Check out the School Safety - MPS group (click on the "groups" tab at the top of the page).

(I'm an INFJ, by the way. Pretty close!)
