Well I'm a dedicated to my community volunteering at my church for the last 7 years as a trained sound engineer. As well as being apart of Phillips Community T.V., and M.A.A.P.. I've been involved with leadership groups and service learning projects and I'm a artist I've add pieces of my work held at various galleries. I'm also a public speaker being the highlight of my previous school. And I love to write and play sports
Why are you interested in Students Speak Out?
this give me a chance to be around others that are interested in solving issues and building communities. I feel that it will be a great community to fellowship and get to know others who share goals and voices. This will help me be a leader in the public eye and give me a chance to be heard as a leader and as a worker.

Tyler -- We need to make a flier to advertise the SSO Goes Alternative Group. Since you're an artist and an activist, would you be interested in making one? Basically, we want to tell students to join StudentsSpeakOut.org and post their stories. You can see the group's hypothesis on the SSO Goes alternative page to get an idea of the kinds of stories they're looking for. I would need this by Sunday. Do you have time to help us out?
Hi! I'm Nuny, and I'm an SSO Goes Alternative Student Leader. Have you been to the SSO Goes Alternative Group? Click "Groups" above and come read my story. I hope you'll let me know what you think and post your story too. Everyone who posts their story will be entered into a drawing to win a sony net-sharing camcorder! Hope to chat with you soon....Nuny

That's awesome (your friends and Battleground MN). My boss was one of the people they interviewed, so I have a copy of it and I LOVE it.
Tyler, from what I can tell you are very grounded. This allows you the opportunity to help others and think less about yourself. Unfortunately, many students are trying hard to keep their heads above water and are very self involved...when in survival mode it is hard not to be and it is hard to help others when in this situation.
I would say that since you are here the greatest thing you can do to help would be to involve yourself in discussions or start discussions. Throw out lifesavers in the form of interest, understanding and inspiration...anything to pull others back to shore, so to speak...to get as grounded as you have become.
Talk to Kim or Victoria about other possibilities. Your motivation is a treasure!

Welcome, Tyler!
Were you involved with the Battleground Minnesota project that Phillips Community TV did?
Greetings! Like Kim said, "Wow!"
You have been blessed with access to some awesome experiences and what's even greater is that you are tuned into, "paying it forward"
You are a great asset to this community and any community with your insights, talents and positivity. Thanks for being here.
Hello Tyler! Wow -- you sound like a well rounded person with very clear goals! How did you hear about SSO! I hope you'll post your story and tell your friends to do so, too. You probably have some great networks!!!
Note -- students who post their stories are entered into a drawing to win a net-sharing camera!
