I am a teacher, education policy nut, techie and education reform advocate. I am active in EdVisions Cooperative and am enthusiastic about project based learning.

I think that this forum has great potential to influence people who make decisions about our educational lives.
Why are you interested in Students Speak Out?
As a teacher, it would be good for me to listen to what students have to say. Since I teach in a personalized, online setting, I may be able to add interesting content.

I am hear to learn and maybe provide a different viewpoint from traditional high school institutions.

Aaron -- please make sure to check out the new R.T. Rybak post and encourage students to respond! Request to be his friend, too, please. We want to hook him on the power of SSO. Boost his excitement about it so he'll keep coming back!

BTW, 1 or more Avalon students IS getting credit for writing and participating.

Aaron -- hi! Nice to have you here. Gosh, I would love to get the word around to students in EdVisions Coop-run schools. Wouldn't that be great! Teachers, too. I think it is awesome that you're already involved in the forums!
