Tell us a little about yourself.: I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota. I just started my second semester and I am loving most of my classes. My intended major is French and Italian Studies, with a possible minor in either Chinese or Japanese. I plan on teaching French at my old high school, North Community High, and translating part time. I am invovled in a lot of groups and clubs, like Vocies Merging which is spoken word, Salsa, and Tango.

Why are you interested in Students Speak Out?: The reason I want to participate in this project is because as a student I am directly affected by what they do to my education system. I can say my system because Im the one who has to change along with it, not nessacaraily the people who are altering it. Also I am tired of everyone saying that these changes are for the best interest of the students, and most of them havent walk a day in the life of a modern day students and wont. So I feel when they can live the life I live and say its too easy then they can change my whole world, and clue me in on what im doing wrong.
