Students Speak Out: Minnesota

Yesterday I was up at the State Capitol with the SSO Goes Alternative student leaders and Annie Wood, our video maker, who was part of the SSO student leadership team last summer. The more I watch the two groups, the more I think we have lots to share and learn from one another.

The Mpls students are working hard to figure out how to reduce bullying in schools. They suspect that part of the problem is lack of respect and trust in schools. The ALC students have been writing about how much more respect they feel in their ALC schools compared to their traditional schools.

So here's my question. Is there bullying in ALCs? If not, why?

Just a quick bias comment (since I'm out of wits right now)

ALC schools aims to be a non-violence community.
